funny thing about that whole ‘you dont like it then leave’ mindset is... even after you leave they demand you pay the 61% taxes while living elsewhere
oh, and if you think you can just renounce citizenship... think again. the fedgov will decide, with no input from you, whether you’re leaving to avoid taxes... and if so, they won’t allow it and will continue to be paid.
and yes, the US is the only country on the planet that expects taxes from its citizens that do not live in the country
