Well I'll chime in here. While I wouldn't call them apologist I'm amazed at the people who seem to find Putin some sort of Man's man, almost a Chuck Norris of International politics. He may pose for the pictures, but politically his actions seem to involve mysterious deaths, plane crashes, and poisonings. He doesn't strike me as the kind to really settle matters man to man, instead he's a KGB trained thug. As for his posing: The louder you have to say you have something, sometimes the less you really have.
I wouldn't call them apologist, but there are those that have an almost admiration for him, and I admit that puzzles me. I don't see that kind of near admiration for other tyrannical dictators who want to take over the world around here.
