That’s probably her point— that Justice will not investigate.
But, seriously, you’re right that her lawyer would probably have to provide some shreds of evidence to validate death threats as a reason for delay. Is she going to be any safer in a week? Is he requesting round the clock armed guards? An armored car?
Someone mailed a bomb to Sheriff Joe last year and it barely made the news cycle.
Media is selective in reporting such “threats”. Why is that?
