You are reading with a ridiculous bias!
Acts 15 was instructions for Israelites living in Asia Minor, who mostly were already keeping Torah, but were being prodded by Pharisees to be circumcised.
They definitely did instruct them to listen to Moses preached in their synagogue every sabbath day. How can you remove that direct statement from the chapter?
You are the cultist! You follow the sweet sayings of men, led by their leader Satan away from the instructions Yehova gave for their ultimate salvation.
“Acts 15 was instructions for Israelites living in Asia Minor, who mostly were already keeping Torah, but were being prodded by Pharisees to be circumcised.”
Sorry Charlie. The Council were addressing GENTILES who had become Christians.
“They definitely did instruct them to listen to Moses preached in their synagogue every sabbath day. How can you remove that direct statement from the chapter?”
Wrong. You read your bias into this. They were concerned that not having the GENTILES follow some basic principles would offend JEWS who have Moses preached all the time. If you read the Greek, they put forth those simple principles so as not to “annoy” the GENTILES with many rules.
“You are the cultist!”
You are a Rood cultist. That much is clear. How many Roodians are there all told?
No they did not. He was implying that anyone who wanted to go back under the law could do so easily because they preached that in the synagogues. Those who read the law of Moses have a veil over their hearts and minds and cant see the truth.
2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. 15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Those who turn to Christ have the veil taken away. Rood's teachings have put a veil on you heart and you cannot see truth.
