“There is no such thing in all of the scriptures.”
Legalism is a term to describe what Paul demonstrates is false in Galatians. In short, legalism is what you advocate.
“You are risking eternity on man made slogans.”
You have no idea why I believe. You don’t even know me. Don’t pretend. I base my belief on a very close study of Scripture in original languages and going through it verse by verse from cover to cover.
“Go to the scriptures for your answers, not to mens inventions.”
I do. I do not follow the heretical notions you advance here. You are involved in a subset of a subset of a subset of “Christianity.” Not unlike Jehovah’s Witnesses - though I suspect your group has fewer members.
“The NT scriptures say doers will be justified, not readers.”
Now you just need to study to understand what that means.
You have no understanding of what Paul is saying to anyone.
It doesn’t matter whether it is Galatians, or Romans, what Paul said is false is what Yeshua said is false in Matthew 15 and Matthew 23, the false oral laws of the Pharisees, not his blessed Torah.
How can anyone make that mistake? When Paul speaks of Torah, it is glowingly, not negatively. You are reading with a bias that confounds your understanding. How can Paul condemn and also praise the same thing in the same chapter? He doesn’t!
The takanot and ma’asim of the Pharisees is the only “law” that is ever declared false anywhere.
