Here is a teaching on the man made garbage:
Matt.15

[1] Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
[2] Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
[3] But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4] For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
[5] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
[6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
[8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
[10] And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
[11] Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
[12] Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
[13] But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
[14] Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
[15] Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
[16] And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
[17] Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
[18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
[19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
[20] These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Matt.23

[1] Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
[2] Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
[3] All therefore whatsoever he bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
[4] For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
[5] But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
[6] And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
[7] And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
[8] But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
[9] And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
[10] Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
[11] But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
[12] And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
[13] But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
[14] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
[15] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
[16] Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
[17] Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
[18] And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.
[19] Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
[20] Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.
[21] And whoso shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth therein.
[22] And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon.
[23] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
[24] Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.
[25] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.
[26] Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
[27] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
[28] Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
[29] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
[30] And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
[31] Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
[32] Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
[33] Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
[34] Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
[35] That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
[36] Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
[37] O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
[38] Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
[39] For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

proven by their descendants inscriptions in Hebrew on rock surfaces in Ireland.

Very interesting. I was wondering why, when going through my father's things after he passed I found a Yarmulke. Then again my mother reminded me he had one to wear when attending his close friends Jewish celebrations.

But the above from you is interesting. Mayor Ed Koch used to assert every St Patrick's Day that Ireland was the refuge of the 'lost tribes' of Israel. I am sure he was just trying to score political points:)

“You may not have noticed but it’s only two of you who stand in opposition to the rest of us and scripture. We all agree that it’s you who cannot read the scriptures with understanding.”

Even WORSE for the TWO cultists...

There are so few Roodites in their cult that they could fit them all in a Marriott. Yet they believe! Against more than a billion Christians.

e-s,
I’ve asked you multiple times how many True Roodites there are out there, but you refuse to answer.

Why? What are you hiding? Why are you hiding it? Embarrassment? Oath?

Yet you accuse us constantly. Only one is identified as the Accuser of the Brethren. Are you a mini-me accuser of the brethren??

How many True Believer Roodites are there?

There is much written on the Hebrew early history of Ireland, but they don’t all agree on which Israelite it was that settled there.

Whoever they were, they apparently had married a daughter of Pharaoh.

Then you HAVE to do the sacrifices.

Sacrifice can only be made on Moriah. Since there is no altar, what you suggest cannot be done.

I think you make a great case for all to examine Ps 119 for the heart of a believer in Christ Jesus. I guess a summary would be is if we love Him we will love all about Him.

Indeed. Ps 119 is a favorite. And if Yeshua is YHWH and YHWH never changes... Many things needfully apply.

That doesn't make one obligated to follow it.

If you WANT to follow it because it makes you feel better, then have at it.

But once you cross the line of demanding that it be done for any reason, you have crossed the line from grace to legalism.

Romans 5:1-21 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

As we briefly touched on in another thread, the English word 'faith' no longer has the same meaning as it's Hebrew word 'aman':

In a word, BALDERDASH...

"The Hebrew root aman means firm, something that is supported or secure. This word is used in Isaiah 22:23 for a nail that is fastened to a "secure" place. Derived from this root is the word emun meaning a craftsman. A craftsman is one who is firm and secure in his talent. Also derived from aman is the word emunah meaning firmness, something or someone that is firm in their actions. When the Hebrew word emunah is translated as faith misconceptions of its meaning occur. Faith is usually perceived as a knowing while the Hebrew emunah is a firm action. To have faith in God is not knowing that God exists or knowing that he will act, rather it is that the one with emunah will act with firmness toward God's will. [i.e. Follow his Commandments]"

I don't have much respect for people who will intentionally distort the scriptures which leads people away from Jesus Christ...

Isa 22:23 And I will fastenH8628 him as a nailH3489 in a sureH539 place;H4725 and he shall beH1961 for a gloriousH3519 throneH3678 to his father's house.H1004

H539
'in a sure'
אמן
'âman
aw-man'
A primitive root; properly to build up or support; (to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain; once (in Isa_30:21; by interchange for H541) to go to the right hand: - hence assurance, believe, bring up, establish, + fail, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right<).

Why in the world are we looking at a verse that says 'in a sure {place}' with the Hebrew word âman when the correct word and it's translation are already provided somewhere else???

This is pure deception and upon closer examination, that word that you chose is closer to the Greek word as translated in the NT...

And then the translators who knew what they were doing used the word 'sure' to get the CORRECT meaning of the verse because they have a clear understanding of the Hebrew as well as Greek...

SURE
1. confident in what one thinks or knows; having no doubt that one is right.

Deu 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.H529

H529
'faith'
אמוּ
'êmûn
ay-moon'
From H539; established, that is, (figuratively) trusty; also (abstractly) trustworthiness: - faith (-ful), truth.

So this is one of the two places in the OT where a Hebrew word is translated into the English word faith...As as we can see, it is for good reason...

Interestingly, this translation of the word faith is the equivalent of the translation for faith used in the NT Greek...We call that a 'GOTCHA'...

Hab 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.H530

H530
'faith'
אמנה אמוּנה
'ĕmûnâh 'ĕmûnâh
em-oo-naw', em-oo-naw'
Feminine of H529; literally firmness; figuratively security; moral fidelity: - faith (-ful, -ly, -ness, [man]), set office, stability, steady, truly, truth, verily.

This is the 2nd place where a word is translated into the English 'by his faith' which IS true stability...

Now that we cleared up that deception, let's look at the Greek...

Gal 3:5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?G4102

G4102

'faith'
πίστις
pistis
pis'-tis
From G3982; persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: - assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.

We have the right word...We have the correct meaning...

Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

IOW, BOTH the Torah and the Brit Hadasha say that if we love YHWH we will keep His commandments... That we KNOW we love YHWH and our fellows by HOW we keep His commandments. Righteousness is in the realm of Salvation (Yeshua)

OK. WHAT commandments?

Which ones?

Why do you think that Christ came to set us free from the requirements of the law?

So tell us which ones we DO have to obey.

And what happens if we don’t?

>>All of Torah applies until the Earth ceases to exist.<<

You claim that the Torah is to be followed by all Israelites. Here is a section of the laws from the Torah under the treatment of Gentiles.

To love the stranger (Deut. 10:19)
Not to wrong the stranger in speech (Ex. 22:20)
Not to wrong the stranger in buying or selling (Ex. 22:20)
Not to intermarry with gentiles (Deut. 7:3)

Now we know that when those laws were written there were no “lost tribes of Israel”. Who were they talking about?

You tell us that the apostles were to only go to the “lost sheep” who you claim are the lost tribes of Israel. If that is so why did Paul make a distinction in Acts 15?

Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

He obviously says there was a choice made that made a distinction of who the 12 were to go to and who Paul was to go to so they can’t be the same. Who are the Gentiles Paul was to go to?

Do you have any idea of just how isolated you are?
