Marijuana, the new economic bubble for the rest of the decade. Look at those penny stocks -- Profit from other's misery. Get rich and turn liberal and keep other's from getting rich.

Let’s tax any kind of addiction, child porn, prostitution, whatever. Isn’t this just great for the “lawmakers”. Found money.

I remember well how eager Colorado was to get their CUT of the tobacco settlement to “cover the increased medical costs due to tobacco.”
Of course, they spent it on other things. But that for is another discussion.
Gee, I wonder if they are concerned about cancer and other medical issues from smoking pot. /sarc
Lemme guess. NO!

Hey, another thought.
Considering pot probably has most of the nasties that cigarettes have, I wonder if there will be lawsuits in the future of pot producers?
The lawyers were pretty eager to go after the tobacco companies and they made billions! Now that pot is legal and front and center, maybe there are new “opportunities” for lawyers.
Hmmmm. Inquiring minds want to know.

Let us with caution indulge the supposition that
morality can be maintained without religion.
Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that
national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.
