Nearly three years ago (March, 2011), WesternFreePress.com published an article titled Say Goodbye to Your Doctor. Even then, it was obvious to those not mesmerized by Barack Obama that Obamacare was going to be a debacle if for no other reason than this: our nations physicians are not slaves of the state. Perhaps, it can be viewed more clearly to say
"Physicians are not the slaves of the insurance companies (a valid contract is valid only through mutual consent) and the Insurance Companies are (or ought not be) slaves of the STATE, except perhaps willingly, mesmerized by the limitless power of the STATE to 'rent seek' on their behalf."
Really?
Are the Insurance Companies legally empowered to commit physicians to State servitude without their consent?
Since when?

One of the little but most onerous provision of the ACA is that doctors can’t start and own hospitals.
The health care reform measure was passed in March of 2010 that year, it mandates that no new physician-owned hospitals could be built and that any expansions to existing facilities must be completed by December 2010.

My physician quit as he was just a couple of years older than I. I've had to scramble finding another and had to settle upon a Nurse practitioner locally. I hope Obama’s next physician has a bone through his nose.
