Circumcision was NOT a tradition of the Pharisees. Circumcision was indeed required by the Law and was given BEFORE the Law came.
Matthew 15 was about the rules and regulations they added to the Law.
YOU are the one who needs to read the OT more.
>> “Circumcision was NOT a tradition of the Pharisees.” <<
.
Do you have any reading skills at all? I didn’t say it was.
.

well, no, all of the law was given before circumcision was made a sign of the covenant at Sinai. The law was given to Adam.
Abel was slaughtered in anger by his brother for offering a proper sacrifice. How would he know that a sacrifice was required, and what was proper, if the Law had not been given?
You will note, I’m sure, that when Noah loaded the animals onto the Ark, he took seven of the “clean” animals, and just TWO of the “unclean” animals.
Now, had Noah eaten even one of the unclean animals while he was drifting on the water, that species would not exist today. It seems that Noah didn’t eat any of the popular unclean animals, huh?
And we all know about the Sabbath being declared by Yehova on the seventh day.

Wow, there’s that echo again!
How are those reading skills doing?
Actually, it was about way more than a few rules, it was about a complete system of rip-off they had going, and that is what got hung on the cross with Yeshua.
