The Hebrew Roots movement includes the sacred name movement which denies the name of Jesus.

For those who love the name of Jesus and believe that there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved a strong rebuke is in order to those who deny the name of Jesus.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

There are those who come in here saying they have proof that the name of Jesus comes from Zeus or Iesa or some other false god or goddess, they are spreading lies and hate against the name of our Great Savior. If you deny the name of Jesus you will be denied in heaven.

I sense that some reading these threads are having doubts about the name of Jesus because of a few here who have denigrated that name claiming they know better. But perhaps we should look at the name they claim is correct.

They claim that the sacred name is Yeshua or Yashua. Well, in Egypt they may have been correct. Yah is the name of the Egyptian moon god and Shu or Shua is the name of the Egyptian sky god. One wonders if they even understand what they are using.

Scripture tells us that our Saviors name is Jesus and that there is no other name under heaven whereby we must be saved. There is an eye opening study done here for anyone who wants to understand the apostasy of those who would come in here and denigrate the name of Jesus whereby we must be saved. There was no name “Jesus” until the KJV translators invented it to hid his true name, which name they had no difficulty correctly translating for Joshua of OT fame. (the J is ‘soft’ as in a ‘y’ )

His name is Yeshua, because he came to yoshia his people.

Like I've being telling you, you might wish to begin pronouncing Yeshua's name correctly now that you know the error of your ways. If not simply out of respect for Yeshau, consider the verse from Acts you've just quoted.
