Something I have noticed about Democrats and the left in general is that they believe credibility is available in any amount they need, and that the source of credibility is the position they hold. For example, neither Hillary Clinton nor John Kerry have any personal credibility, but yet when they are in the Secretary of State chair, they, the left, and the media suddenly act as if they are highly credible simply because they are the Secretary of State. It's some kind of circular thinking that allows them to avoid the whole idea that character, not position, is the source of credibility.
