That’s a 6th grade photo, which would have been after the Christmas visit, if I have my dates right.
I’ve assumed that the birth and childhood narrative always supported the “Barack Obama” name, even if many other details were in question. Now I would like to see something, any credible documentation that the child used that name prior to 1970, something more than a personal recollection from decades ago.
You've got me thinking...all over again: let's face it, the first time we see him with Stanley Ann Dunham is when he's about three...and the first time we should have seen his name in print other than the suspect addition to the INS docs, written in a hand that wasn't the kenyan's in APRIL 1964, (and the Wood's Memo on the 31ST OF AUGUST 1961) was that kindergarten story, but we don't see the name there either...and his records have been LOST.
I've always been of the opinion, that if you take away from the INS doc everything the kenyan DID NOT WRITE AND SIGNED OFF ON, he showed himself as married to someone named Ann Obama, and heaven knows who she was.
He was divorced from Stanley Ann Dunham in March 1964, the final decree was dated March 20. It's almost as if there was an adjustment made to that document, to coincide with the fact that she was given sole custody of a child by that name. But was she his mother? Only a forged bc says she was.
Then Anna Obama shows up in Seattle. In the Polk for 1961-1962. So she must have been there in time to be included in the 1961 directory, and Mary says she babysat for Anna Obama in January.
