That actually may be the way things end. A Federal or State government stomping its feet issuing edict after edict... and the people do absolutely nothing. There are more of us then them. Of course at this point, tyrannical governments like to make examples of some to scare the populace. With such high non-compliance, this is likely not to work and will only further piss-off the public.

Actually, this is happening now, and the Federal government is afraid to push on anything because it will expose their true weakness. Look at the pot laws. Look at the immigration laws that are “waived”. There are also cracks elsewhere. Ignoring the laws works both ways.
