I don’t believe Anonymous can exist without the acquiescence of the US government. The Internet is not anonymous.

True, BUT it doesn't mean a knowledgeable operator can't use the system to stay aloof.

Granted it gets harder every day. Facial Recognition software and more and more cameras that are linked to the Internet are starting to tighten the noose. But, you still can roam the net and stay ahead of the snoopers. But you need mad skillz AND constant updated info of the snoopers operating tactics.

And remember many times when a hacker is finally caught the Alphabet Agencies like to co-opt the hacker and put him to work for Uncle Sam. How hard would it be for these guys on the inside to drop dime on how Alphabets are operating to their former mates in Anonymous?
