Good morning! The picture reminded me of the cats sitting patiently while the opossum ate their food.
Mr. Sg read a cat social-structure book, and, in feral colonies, it is customary to allow one who already has a favorable geographic position to keep it until he/she is finished, and then it is the next cat’s turn to go. IOW, whoever’s there first has dibs. No bickering, no complaining, no nada. One of Fluffy’s behaviors when he was still an outdoor kitten was that he’d gulp down a little bit of the food I brought out and then gather all the other kittens (obviously not his sibs) so that they could eat, too. He was far too nice a kitty to leave outside. There was another, tinier dark kitten who was very hostile, hissing, etc., even when it knew I brought it food. Not long after, one of our dogs got a hold of that one and I found it dead in the middle of the backyard.
I’m going for my final post-op exam today, and hopefully, he will tell me something good. I have no clue what I will do if he insists on providing multi-focal reading glasses for me. They are NOT in the budget.
Yesterday, I was suffering from the first sore throat I can recall having in several years. And there isn’t a lot I can do about it. I will see if I can find some topical throat spray, but outside of that, I’m limited to cough drops to ease the pain. *sigh*
