Everyone except Bill. When I got home with my group, a bit after noon, Bill was home from school early. I took some mail up to his room and found him in bed. “Why are you home early?” I asked.
“My afternoon class was cancelled, so I came home and slept for an hour. Can I go out until about 4:30?”
“Sure, if you have transportation arranged.”
“That means I can’t take the car.”
“You got it. There’s Mass at 4:30; you could clean your room and then go to Mass.”
“I was going to go tonight.”
Now, at 5:05, he is still in bed. I think he’s not quite well. I’ll roust him out eventually so he can go to Mass at 7:30.
Yep. Sounds like illness is afoot in your humble abode. Here’s hoping he can make it to Mass, later.
