If Ibuprofin could cure the migraines, I would have been eating it like candy. The only thing I’ve ever found since I was eight years old has been an injection called “Imitrex,” but I had to give it up as it caused strokes in lab rats.
Since I’ve already had three TIA’s (mid-40’s) I felt it was best to forego the pleasure of instant NO-Headache!
So I just deal with it. I still don’t know if I have one headache that lasts 10 days, or 10 headaches that last a day each. If they get to bad, I do the darkness-silence-and-ice-pack thingy.
I keep Vicodin around for headaches (not migraine). Works great! I have a ton of them left over from my hips.
