Something for Pat to cogitate...

I felt the vibrations in my dreams yesterday before I actually heard the train which eventually woke me up. It was the vibrations, I’m sure that prompted the dream of the train, as in the dream, I saw it as a speck with a light in the center, ‘way down the track.

If it had been real life, I would not have heard it or felt it for at least three minutes, maybe more, because of the distance and the speed of the train. Since we are in the city limits, I’m sure the speed of the train is somewhere around two or three mph. The plant it comes from is three miles, and the train can be seen on the tracks a good three miles, in the switching yard.

Our bodies are more sensitive than we realize. If you were awake, your mind would have dismissed the faint vibrations you felt as “not information we need right now.” Since you were asleep, your filters were down.

At least, it’s a theory!

Did you read about the foreigner who was listening on the track in NYC to see of train was coming? Yup, he picked the third rail. “Poof!”
