I have not kept up with the affair but the Panama City TV station had a fairly detailed report including the State’s attorney saying they were not going to prosecute.
It seemed to me they did have enough but then I don’t really know anything about such things. I do know that he was a sleazy character and sleazy characters should not win an award of the quality of the Heisman.
When there’s that much evidence, it should have been presented to a grand jury.
It will be interesting to see what comes out in court if the victim files civil charges. The statement her lawyers made Friday makes that sound possible.
I do: Florida "justice" is all about politics and money. There is WAYYYY too much money wrapped up in Winston and FSU's success, and Bowden and FSU have HUGE influence politically. On the other hand, George Zimmerman was an embarrassment for the powers-that-be and had to be taken down.
