Well, at least now we know the real reason that one-sixth of the economy had to be turned upside down. In the latest bit of brilliance from ProgressNowColoroado, Susie, a young woman "hot to trot," says "Thanks, Obamacare!" for birth control that is so easy to get that "all I have to worry about is getting him between the covers."....
[snip]
.....But when the outrage and laughter inspired by the exposure of Obama's Big Lie subsides, the question remains: Now what do we do? Obamacare is in crisis. Will we let it go to waste?
There seems to be a school of Republican thought that assumes the "Affordable Care Act" is a starting point for further Federal fiddling. John Boehner said today that the problems with Obamacare show that "it's time to fix this law." If I may rephrase: "Look, Democrats, you're killing yourselves, and you're taking us with you, but you're doing it all wrong. Let us show you." No, Mr. Speaker, it is not time to "fix" Obamacare. The fact that you even uttered the word "fix" in that context has me very, very worried. Please don't ever say this again.
Obamacare was forced through Congress without a single Republican vote. Why would Republicans now help the Democrats mask its disastrous consequences? Indeed, why should Republicans do anything to assume any political responsibility for this law? The argument is that we should do something to mitigate the harm the law is now inflicting. That is an invitation to be sucker-punched.
The Democrats made their bed, and Susie and Nate can't wait to lie in it. Let them. As someone once said, "elections have consequences" and "I won." So let's not help the Democrats duck the political consequences of their signature achievement. Instead, every time 100,000 more policies are cancelled, or your doctor is no longer in your network, or some twenty-something prog argues that it's only "fair" that your policy now has an annual $12,000 out of pocket because she has "free" birth control, make sure to say "Thanks, Obamacare!" Because this is entirely what Obama and the Democrats did when they, and they alone, inflicted this law on the land. Let's make them a hair shirt, and sew a scarlet "ACA" on it.
But that's not enough, because Obamacare will remain "the law of the land" until and unless it is replaced with something else. "But," you say, "we can't do that. We don't have veto-proof majorities in the House and the Senate." Precisely. The time is ripe to propose replacing Obamacare with a market-based, Republican-branded alternative, and make it a central issue for 2014. To do that, we need two things: a message and a messenger..........

Pull the flush handle on all his sycophants

impeach
media = co-conspirators
Step 1: Impeach.
The majority of Americans have always “played by the rules.” Barack Hussein Obama has changed all that. I see that as a good thing. The commie ‘RATS set the healthcare rules and Americans stood up and said, “We’re not playing”. Thank you TEA Party and Senators Cruz and Lee! America Rises!
Impeach
Ignore
Ignominy
Pepper him daily with annoying questions about what his Exit Strategy is?
Since Obamascam is providing free birth control to women for recreational purposes and men will have no need for those products yet they are paying for them, can the men at least get tickets to Disneyland?
More from the article:
“.........The ideas are out there.
John Cochrane at the University of Chicago has explained how much of what is “wrong” with the healthcare system is, in fact, the product of existing federal law. Why is your insurance tied to your employer and not portable? Why can’t you buy a policy across state lines? Because Federal law says so. Many of the liberal bugbears, like the lack of portability and the pre-existing condition problem, are the consequences of outdated federal laws. Democrats’ solution: federal control of healthcare. Republican solution; get rid of the outdated laws; make targeted accommodations for the truly needy. Who wins that one?
Sally Pipes at the Pacific Research Institute has outlined a seven-point replacement agenda for Obamacare: (1) let people buy health insurance with pre-tax dollars; (2) expand Health Savings Accounts; (3) allow the purchase of insurance across state lines; (4) fund high-risk pools - allowing coverage for those with pre-existing conditions without raising others’ premiums; (5) eliminate federal electronic records mandates; (6) scrap federal “essential” benefits mandates; and (7) promote tort reform at the state level.
Add Pipes’ elements (1)-(6) and Cochrane’s elimination of federally imposed market distortions on the health insurance market, and you have a plan that could be written into law on the first day of the 114th Congress.
Now, who will be the messenger? During the 2012 presidential campaign, Democrats had Paul Ryan pushing granny off a cliff for suggesting market-based reforms to Medicare. I doubt the efficacy of that attack now that the Pied Piper Obama has led so many Americans, who thought they could keep their plans, over a cliff of his own. But Paul Ryan has the budget to deal with now, and the Republican opposition looks sadly lacking in compelling national leadership, unwilling or unable to take the offensive and present a crisp alternative.
So, now what do we do? And who’s going to do it?”
While the White House is going on its apology tour, and politicians are signalling that they’re more worried about their re-election chances than they are about the well-being of their struggling constituents, the real scandal is the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Wikileaks just posted some damning details on 0’s wheeling and dealing on behalf of multinationals. Not only does Zero deserve all (and more of) the grief he’s getting on Glitchgate, he definitely does need to be called out for planning a global corporate coup.
Having already made one deal from hell with Big Pharma, by agreeing not to negotiate lower drug prices as part of the ACA, Obama is still doing their bidding as regards the TPP, which would restrict sales of life-saving drugs to third world countries. (and that includes the Banana Republic of America, of course.)
According to Public Citizen’s Peter Maybarduk, “the Obama administrations shameful bullying on behalf of the giant drug companies would lead to preventable suffering and death in Asia-Pacific countries. And soon the administration is expected to propose additional TPP terms that would lock Americans into high prices for cancer drugs for years to come.
Keep the change.
NOTHING. "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time" has a correlary. Namely, "If you fool the majority of the people on the first Tuesday of November, then for the next four years it doesn't matter if they find out the truth or what they think. You can do what you want."
Good one! :-)
This EXACTLY right. The word "FIX" in relation to 0bamacare should be treated in the same way as the word "RAPE" (see: Clod Akin). IOW, banned.
In a more honest time, Congress would have voted for his impeachment and removal.
Does he have unlimited access to nukes?
