President Lucifer fires another military commander, U.S. Army Col. Eric Tilley

President Lucifer’s purge of the U.S. military’s top commanders continues.

The latest is Col. Eric Tilley, commander of U.S. Army Garrison Japan, who was summarily relieved of duty and his civilian deputy reassigned, pending a “misconduct” investigation.

Col. Eric Tilley

F. Michael Maloof reports for WND, Nov. 4, 2013, that Col. Tilley was suspended from his job by Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer Sr., commander of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) for a “lack of confidence” based on the results of an inquiry. A spokesman for U.S. Army Japan, Maj. Kevin Toner, would not elaborate on what prompted a “lack of confidence,” saying it would be “inappropriate to make public the allegations because the investigation did not lead to findings of criminal misconduct.”

Tilley is to be replaced by Col. Joy Curriera.

Note from Eowyn: I found a Joy Curriera on LinkedIn. Her profile identifies her currently as a “National War College student.”

Before that, for 8 months she had been the chief of Army Personnel Records Division at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command. She also claims two years, from June 2009 to June 2011, as a battalion commander of the 46th Adjutant General Battalion in Fort Knox, Kentucky. But that is not combat field experience.

A student at the National War College with no combat command experience has been promoted to command the largest U.S. Army base in Japan. God help us.

Tilley’s dismissal is only the latest in what multiple top generals described to WND as a full-scale “purge” of the U.S. military by the Obama regime. Nine generals and flag officers have been relieved of duty under Obama just this year – widely viewed as an extraordinary number – and several sources put the total number of senior officers purged during the five years of the Obama administration as close to 200.

Prominent retired generals – ranging from Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, a Fox News senior military analyst, to Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, a founder of the Army’s elite Delta Force, to Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. Patrick Henry Brady – call Obama’s actions as nothing less than an all-out attack on America’s armed forces.

Retired Navy Capt. Joseph John says the “bigger picture is that the U.S. Armed Forces have been under relentless attack by the occupant of the Oval Office for five years.” A Naval Academy graduate, John had three tours of duty in Vietnam, served as an al-Qaida expert for the FBI, was a commanding officer with SEALs embedded on special operations, and was awarded the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal, five Meritorious Service Medals and 22 medals and unit citations for combat operations in Vietnam, Philippines, Desert Storm and on anti-terrorist operations. Today, John is chairman of Combat Veterans For Congress PAC (Political Action Committee), which has helped elect 20 combat veterans to Congress.

In an email to WND, John outlined a few “of the most egregious” aspects of Obama’s “attack” on the military over the past five years, including:

◾Changes in Rules of Engagement in combat which precluded the use of suppression fire at a landing zone, which resulted in very high casualty rates in Afghanistan, including the loss of 17 members of SEAL Team 6 in one incident.

◾The repeal of the policy of “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” which resulted in the first openly “gay” “major military force in the world” and “massive” sexual assaults on “thousands of straight military male personnel that have been covered up.”

◾Military chaplains’ being prohibited from reading letters in the pulpit from their cardinals during Sunday services as a restriction of freedom of religion.

◾Major cuts in the military budget that resulted in, for one example, restricting as many as seven aircraft carriers to port, “leaving them open to another Pearl Harbor-type of attack.”

◾Downgrading of physical fitness qualifications for “tip of the spear units” such as the Rangers, SEALs, Green Berets and combat infantry, so “women can be placed into those units.” >p>

◾The assignment of women to submarines and ships, resulting in extra-marital relationships at sea that have broken up military families, as well as the removal of some senior enlisted personnel and commanding officers in the midst of six-month deployments, which degrades the ships’ battle readiness.

Captain John says these and other “social experiments” have constituted “a massive assault to restructure the military mindset, destroyed unit cohesion, unit morale and is negatively affecting combat effectiveness,” all of which is continuing “to degrade the most effective military organization ever created.”

Even more alarming, retired Army Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady, recipient of the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, as well as other top retired officers, say Obama’s agenda is decimating the morale of the U.S. ranks to the point members no longer feel prepared to fight or have the desire to win. Brady told WND, “There is no doubt he [Obama] is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him” over such issues as “homosexuals, women in foxholes, the Obama sequester.” Another military source told WND “they are purging everyone, and if you want to keep your job, just keep your mouth shut.”

More distressing still, those who would be in line to replace outgoing generals – the colonels — are quietly taking their careers in other directions. Retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, who was a founding member of Delta Force and later deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence under President George W. Bush, says the lower grades have decided to leave, having been given the signal that there is no future in the military for them.

Boykin also says the some 197 officers who were purged in the past five years were suspected of disloyalty or disagreed with the Obama administration on policy or force-structure issues. A number of them have been relieved of duty for no given reason.

Brady, who was a legendary “Dust Off” air ambulance pilot in Vietnam and detailed his experiences in his book, Dead Men Flying: Victory in Viet Nam, told WND, “The problem is military people will seldom, while on duty, go on the record over such issues, and many will not ever, no matter how true. I hear from many off the record who are upset with the current military leadership and some are leaving and have left in the past.”

Brady also described additional problems in today’s military, including “girly-men leadership [and] medals for not shooting and operating a computer. This president will never fight if there is any reason to avoid it and with a helpless military he can just point to our weakness and shrug his shoulders.”

Note from Eowyn: Some retired U.S. military officers (at the lieutenant colonel rank) I know dismiss reports of Obama’s firing of military commanders as the stuff that always happens in any administration: commanders-in-chief fire military officers all the time, for one reason or another.

To their airy dismissal retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, a Fox News senior military analyst, has the perfect response.

Obama refuses to investigate his civilian officials, such as Attorney Eric Holder (for Fast and Furious) and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius (for the malfunctioning Obamacare website, HealthCare.gov), but finds it easy to fire military commanders who have given their lives for their country.Vallely explains, “Obama will not purge a civilian or political appointee because they have bought into Obama’s ideology. The White House protects their own. That’s why they stalled on the investigation into Fast and Furious, Benghazi and Obamacare. He’s intentionally weakening and gutting our military, Pentagon and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged.”

Well, we all know that The One isn’t looking for the best qualified to lead our military. He is looking for those who will follow his orders to the “T”. He is the leader, and he doesn’t want those who would be “good” leaders, who might have a conscience left, to even think of disobeying him.

No, our military is run entirely by a gaggle of leftist civilians.

Of course. The Army has very few troops in Japan and is removing most of what is left.

The story leads off with "F. Michael Maloof reports for WND, Nov. 4, 2013, that Col. Tilley was suspended from his job by Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer Sr., commander of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) for a “lack of confidence” based on the results of an inquiry."

Would someone explain to me how the zipperhead in the WH is responsible for this, or is this another World Nut Daily CT?

BTW- the article also mentions Boykin, who is another nutcase. I don't care what his background was.

They are leaving one their own.

I retired a few years ago, I want nothing except my flag that I earned. I declined the form letter from the CIC, all I wanted was my flag, my DD214, and my retirement check.

Several good NCOs are just getting out and not re-upping, due to the pro homo, sensitive, and PC BS that is the US Military. Every month is something, Woman’s history, black history, Latino history, Asian heritage, Earth day, some obscure "holiday",for any religion not Christian related. I spent more time in sensitivity workshops then did at my job.

I have worked for a few commanders over the years that were relieved of duty for one reason or another. Most of the time was political. You don't get to that position without being some what political in the first place. It seems like a lot have been relieved lately, but I don't think it is anymore then normal. It would be interesting however to see the political affiliation of the ones getting ousted and the ones being put in command. We had a very conservative CO at my last command in 2009, (that we all liked) replaced by a man hating lesbian. The command went down hill over night. I was so glad I was about done with my Military service.

The First Dictator can’t fire Sibelius, but he’s sacking the military by firing any generals who won’t knuckle under to his anti-American edicts. When will the military defend themselves and this country? They all took the oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

You’re right that the author is not very in touch on military matters and really stretching his attempted point about this relief having any connection to the various flag ranks being sent down the road. As to your final paragraph, I remain among the unconvinced of either a conspiracy/purge case or a business-as-usual case. I’m in a wait-and-see mode as there is enough other crap going on that watchful waiting seems to be advisable.

BTW, thumbs up on the “admin weenie” characterization.

Obama is the only coup threat

You mean getting rid of any possible counter-coup

Well #1 he can’t coup without the military so he is fine tuning the general officers. #2 this fine tuning will prevent the counter coup.

It’s far more serious than that. This time it’s for real.

That’s not to say that life in a totalitarian police state won’t have some excitement. Spying on neighbors, rounding up those who think differently than the leaders and herding them into a concentration camp. Stealthy assassinations. The genocidal murder of millions of non-believers.

They’ve removed God, now they’ll have to silence the rest of us.

Your comments are excellent and very insightful.

So different from the U. S. Army in which I served almost sixty years ago.
