Zimmerman killed Martin in the dark with no witnesses. Sanford DA based on the police investigation rightly decided not to prosecute Zimmerman. It wasn’t until the race hustlers, and their pal in the White House, became involved that he was prosecuted for political motives.
An open Burger King will have witnesses and surveillance video. Depending on the jurisdiction you probably won’t even be charged.
Political winds blow in weird directions. I wouldn’t want to put myself or my family at risk by taking out a robber or a thief who wasn’t directly giving me cause to do so. If he’s the wrong color or minority or sexual bend the world could quite easily come down on you.
I am sure Zimmerman never saw what was over the horizon for him and his family. Be careful, aware and thoughtful when your finger is on a trigger.
