In Pennsylvania a Bronze plan for a 55 year old man and a 54 year old wife costs a little under $900 per month, has a $10,000 deductible and 20% copay.

Is that for in-network benefits and does your plan even cover out-of-network at all if your doctor is not part of that network?

The rates you quoted are just ridiculous. Why even bother? And yes, I know about the fines. Unless you end up going to the hospital, you’ll never meet your deductible so you’re better off to negotiate a cash price with your doc and don’t have insurance.
