To me, it is the weak Republican response to all of this that makes me ill! If this is the best that the Republicans can do, bring on the Libertarians! I give up already!

Getting the 49% to pay insurance premiums and copays with deductibles, equates in their minds to "nobody should lose their house because they got sick"-Barack Obama, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.

They didn't think the individual would have to pay those things...............

What kind of moron would think that the 49%'ers who pay no income taxes would be willing to pay $10,000 per year for what they don't pay for right now?

Is there a such thing as an industry wide Pulitzer Punishment for thrusting us toward an Idiocracy?

It was a curious thing to watch.

Government shutdown for seventeen-odd days, suddenly spiraling downward. A massive one week period of the media dumping on the Republicans....talking peppy over how they screwed up and how this was going to divide the Republicans in 2014. Total victory for President Obama.

Then a week goes by, and the web platform is suddenly page one news, and a failure. If the President had taken Cruz’s advice and settled on negotiation...today, he’d be in the clear and no real issues to talk about or work through the Sunday political chat shows.

Chaos, after chaos, after chaos. This is like the 1977 New York Yankees with Billy Martin, Reggie Jackson, and George Steinbrenner running on turbo...365 days out of the year. A World Series in total chaos....daily.

“It Gets Better - The president always had a tough time selling Obamacare. Now his weak assurances are making Republicans look wise beyond their years.”

You’ll have better health care. It may bankrupt you within a couple years, but then the government will subsidize it for you. And you will be covered for conditions you cannot possibly have.

The president's original promise was so ironclad and repeated so often that any explanation now sounds like dissembling.

Sounds like lying to me.
