Probably a little more than half of all concentration camps were in occupied countries. All of the death camps were in Poland. There are maps available of the locations and types.

Just sayin', I never associated the term with anything other than location, and automatically attributed the camps to Germany.

Dachau is in Germany.
I visited there in 1960 while I was stationed in Germany in the Army.
What is shown on the Internet is an accurate depiction of the camp.
It was a Death Camp.
