The GOPe has an iron grip over the party. The culture of appeasement and status quo is, unfortunately, deeply and permanently ingrained within the party apparatus. The party is merely a cheap facade, with a false conservative veneer.
The Republican Party wants your money and your votes, but not your principles. Buyer beware.
This is true, and sadly it may require the GOP to go the way of the Whigs and be reborn before we’ll see it improve.
