Time to primary every single one of these a**hats:
House Republicans told Obama at the White House that they could reopen the federal government by early next week if the president and Senate Democrats agree to their debt-ceiling proposal. After the debt ceiling is lifted, a House GOP aide said they would seek some additional concessions in a government funding bill.Obama repeatedly pressed House Republicans to open the government, asking them whats it going to take to end the shutdown, those sources said. He questioned why the government should remain closed if both sides agreed to engage in good-faith negotiations on the budget, according to a Democratic source briefed on the meeting
Obama agreed to review the House Republican proposal for reopening the government, but reiterated that he wouldnt pay a ransom, the Democratic source said.
Obamacare?
The whole reason tea-party groups like Heritage Action were okay with a short-term debt-ceiling hike is because, in theory, it cleared the way to re-focus on stopping ObamaCare by digging in on the shutdown. Instead, evidently, Republicans are ready to end the shutdown for a month or more in order to initiate broader negotiations with the White House. Which means that, contra tea partiers wishes, discussions over the shutdown and the debt ceiling will end up being merged after all. Which in turn means defunding/delaying ObamaCare, if its not off the table already, is likely headed for the shelf as the parties focus on deficit reduction instead.
The RINO's have caved and now what do we get in return?
In exchange, they sought a commitment by the president to negotiate a deal for long-term deficit reduction and a tax overhaul.
A commitment to negotiate.
Just when you thought the RINO's couldn't get more spineless they surprise you.
And now we got Boehner to negotiate a budget deal once more. It worked out quite well a few years ago:

Their day is coming. California is the canary in the coal mine, By 2050 the demographics of the US will look like CA today. We have entered the era of tribal politics. Obama’s reelection in 2012 was the tipping point. Demography is destiny.
NRSC? Eff ‘em. I figured it was something like that.
Aaaaaand Lucy the RINO jerks the football away from Conservative Charlie Brown AGAIN!
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory....
We never had the numbers, folks.
And don’t count on Obamacare to “collapse under its own weight.” After another year, regardless of the hardships it’s caused, Americans will be so intensively propagandized they’ll find ways to rationalize that it’s their fate. Shit, they don’t even want to fight it now... what makes us think they’ll have the heart to toss it overboard 12 months from now? Most Americans have become sheep who, with enough persuasion, will believe whatever the democrats and the “media” tell them.
To continue my earlier post, the House was our last hope. If they’ve caved here, what now?
I agree. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but we’re morphing into something we’ve never seen before.
I won't hold my breath waiting for the liberals to repeal their 100 year work for social health care in America, or for the liberals to sit by an watch as the socialized health care “collapse under its own weight.”
Never in the history of this government has the liberals repealed a social government handout, even after they watched it fail, e.g. “war of poverty” “war on drugs” etc.!
Indeed.
I just saw what McCain said about the GOP being at fault. Talk about deserving one another.

Radically changed to a single payer system—the ultimate objective after the private insurance companies are decimated.

No kidding. 0 is a Shiite head.
God, please save me from the fanatics! This blogger complains that they aren’t demanding that 0bamaRobertscare be stopped, delayed or changed. I want all that, too, but the time to have gotten that done was in the 2012 elections.
Unfortuately, so many true-blue conservatives were so busy bitchin’ about the Republican ticket, they didn’t have time to get to the polls and do their duty.
So, just give up and roll over... very well then.
“There is a certain battered wife syndrome out there. No matter how bad the GOP treats their ‘base’, people will still vote for them and defend them.”
The GOP doesn’t hit as hard or leave as many marks.
If you believe he will do ANY negotiations after he gets what he wants, I have a bridge that spans the East River in NYC that I would like to sell you.
Where did I say that I believed anything Obama said? He’s just sticking it in Boehners eye because the crybaby will fold under pressure. We’re being played by both sides.
