A) I'm not “working” because of health conditions incurred during my time serving in the armed forces of the United States of America. (B) Millions of seniors and non-veteran disabled aren't “working” either and receive medical coverage (flawed and incomplete though it may be) from the U.S. government. (C) Even if we brought back all the manufacturing that we lost to China in the last 30 years (an impossibility, btw) we would have far fewer manufacturing jobs than the same move would've garnered in 1985, due to automation, computerization and other efficiencies that have accrued over the years. What is your solution to that? (D) If we could rid ourselves of socialized medicine COMPLETELY and go back to the system used before FDR and LBJ, I think you would be surprised how many veterans would be happy to pay for their own healthcare, but if a welfare queen or faux disabled/worker's comp bum is going to get his/her medical paid for by Uncle Sugar, I damned sure am going to claim mine, since I believe my place in the line is MILES ahead of them, or even a deserving senior who paid money into the system, GOT IT?! Veterans put their life on the line, which is much more than paying a little every month or just happily being born within the jurisdiction of the United States. Comprende?

As I said before, I’m with you 100%.
I just frankly am less enthusiastic than you, in leaving it up to companies.
They’re all leaving.
