“Take away Bush’s response to 9/11......well, I’ll remain polite. I was not a fan.”

I need to clarify this. I have all the respect in the world for George W. Bush the human being. Again, I can’t express how much I supported (and still do) the reasons why we went to war in Iraq and Trashcanistan. They were just causes then and they are are just causes now. W was an excellent wartime president. History will reflect this, no matter how much the libs try to pervert it.

HOWEVER—

Bush did a lot damage on the domestic side of things. He expanded Medicare, enabled further federal intrusion into local issues like education, and let’s not forget,he was also a big amnesty guy.

I’m tired of settling for “good on one thing, lousy at everything else”. I’m not voting for it anymore, I’m not defending it anymore, and I will not donate one fiat dollar to it anymore. It’s that cut and dried.

Yes, “No Child Left Behind” opened a door for our current creep in the WH to meddle in the schools, training generations of our children to be good little marxists.

The Founding Fathers were quite prescient in this regard. It is a shame that this wisdom has been lost or ignored.

Powerful men in charge of our country must be mindful of any openings they leave for less patriotic “leaders” who come after them.
