I have often thought of going back and looking for the old threads, so I could tell posters the results of reading their posts. My kidos are doing so well. I have homeschooled for 13 years now.
Yes, 2000 is the exact time frame. I don’t remember posters names, but I remember discussions about John Galt, and freedom in education, and the scary topics of course, socialization, Home School Legal Defense League- were topics in general.

We had HSLD phone number on speed dial with strict protocols with our kids for answering the door and they never answered the phone.
