LOL!
I don’t think Pat will even reach Bill’s height. He’s in the 10th percentile for boys his age. James has passed him, and it’s possible Vlad will: he’s tall for 7. But he’ll get lots of badges!
Inert doesn’t like his job much, but he likes his pay, and he seems to be putting in a good effort. He got a “Good Work!” report at his 6-week evaluation. He’s been off this week and (hopefully) working hard at Chemistry. He’ll work Friday and Saturday, and then I don’t know about the week beginning Sunday.
I found a formula once upon a time, to gauge the potential height of a person based on the height of the baby at the age of two years. I used it on Hockeybughow, and I was almost floored to learn the answer was 6’4”. His height now? 6’ 4”, minus the wear and tear on the bones by his age.
He was a lot like Pat...skinny and short...for the LONGEST time. Even when he reached 17, he was only eye-to-eye with me and I’m 5’9”. So don’t scratch Pat off the Tall Chart just yet!
Having money one doesn’t have to beg for from Mom and Dad, or siphon off from the “inheritance” is a good thing. Once I learned my skills were worth something to someone else, I suddenly LOVED my job!
However, I was always trying to improve myself, and move on to bigger and better things. Which is probably why the supervisors in the county job I held tried so hard to get rid of me.
If Inert is unhappy with his job, he should learn all he can about moving onward and upward, and what skills he will need, regardless of the area of employment. People skills are ALWAYS good to have.
So are math, organization and filing. :o])
