I think that’s a Suzuki G13 engine. Is it a 16 valve? If so, you should have the timing belt replaced if it has more than 60-70 thousand miles on it and it’s never been changed.
Um...golly...I don’t have a Haines manual, and it only has a four cylinder engine, and I’m sure the mechanic checked out everything that could have caused the problem.
He did indicate that the distributor was a problem with that particular vehicle, so having it replaced is a good thing.
At least now, I don’t have to walk to Walmart...
