That reminds me. I have to take Lucas Prince of Darkness to the vet today.

He loses a lot of weight when one of our cats dies, and after my Rocket passed last year, he did it again.

This time, he did not recover his weight. He eats A LOT, but he does not gain.

He has a problem keeping it down sometimes, and other times he does well.

We’re thinking thyroid/kidneys/liver? The vet will tell.

Also, he does not like the other two cats. Rocket was his friend, but he does not get along with Shadow or Miss Hissy Slashy.

The two girls give him a lot of grief, and he avoids them if he can. He is elderly, about 15 years old. I am worried.

Poor old Lucas! I’m sure you’re giving him lots of affection, but it’s hard to be at the bottom of the cat-hierarchy. I hope the vet can help him.

Prayers up for Lucas. Squeak is at the bottom of the cat hierarchy here but she instigates most of the confrontations and then jumps behind Mr. Sg for protection. She was found at a very early age by Scooby the 100# hunting dog who was fascinated with kittens. He spent more time with her and her brother Fluffy than her mamacat did, so of course she's messed up.
