"Really a red tail? wow?"

We have hawks in this area. They seem to favor the busy throughways.

But the birds who really pose for us are the vultures. It's like a graphic warning sign.

"We're serious, mate. Slow down."

Speaking of turkey vultures, “The Turkey Vulture has no nasal septum (wall dividing the nostrils). From the side, you can see in one nostril and out the other.” For real. I got that from the Turkey Vulture Society’s website. Rilly.
