"Pardon me, old bean...is English you second language?"

Ambrose Bierce's "Devil's Dictionary" has an entry for "positive": Being wrong at the top of one's voice.

By which interlude I introduce the concept that it must be especially embarrassing to be upbraiding someone for a supposed grammatical gaffe, and to make a grammatical error in that criticism.

I think you meant to say, "... is English your second language?"

By the way, I found nothing wrong with the original message. It was rather casual in expression, but succinct and evocative.

Snark is a double-edged sword.

I’m having a difficult time. Wasn’t the grammar, really. I think the comm problem might have been at my end. And Mrs. Liberty was very good to point out my typsos to me, conveniently after I hit “Post.” :^\
