you wandered around and got lost?

Oh yes, these things have to be done.
Today was a trip in the Fog to Whitby, traveling over the North Yorkshire Moors.
The Small sea side town from where James Cook started his little trip around the world.
There is a modern reproduction of his boat that does trips around the bay. The man was mad going to sea in something that small!
The Town is best described as mini-York-on-sea.
LOads of oldy worldy to get lost in...great. :)
The Whitby Jet stone is like clean coal.
Tomorrow depends on the weather forcast. They promised 'Nice'.

I saw a mystery show set in Whitby. I think it was historical ... maybe one of the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes programs.

I don’t know if it’s still there, but San Francisco had a replica of the Golden Hind. And you’re right, Moosie — those folks were CRAZY!

We all had our photos taken on it and I’m surprised there was even room to maneuver on the decks...
