Best wishes! The young man who’s staying across the street is replacing a fuse in the purple car. Hopefully that will get the lights working so Bill can drive to work!
Is that anything like Pierced Moron's accent?
Speaking of whom..
For what it's worth, depending on who and how reliable FTV is, CommieNewsNetwork is canning the Moron. Or at least relegating him to the late night hours where he can compete with test patterns and snow, and still lose viewers... or would if tv stations still signed off after midnight.. ;-)
Anytime a news item mentions your name along with the terms 'new role' or 'exit strategy' it is not a career enhancement.. ;-)
Yes, pees moe-ron is being “recalibrated”.
Unnngh. What with this and that, I’ve got the purple car working so Bill can drive to work. Next project, in my copious free time, will be getting the alarm disconnected so this never happens again.
Ouch.
Sounds like fun.
Is said young man going to perform a radioectomy on the purple car?
I have no clue what will happen with the Tracker, but it is at the mechanic’s. I just spoke to Jesse and he said he will try to re-enact the situation I had on Thursday, coming over here. *sigh*
The young man removed a fuse from under the dash, and the radio is now without power. Bill can spend his driving time talking to himself about how awful his parents are and how he’s going to join the Marines as soon as the semester is over.
Removing a fuse will last only as long as it takes Bill to figure out where the fuse box is! Good luck with that, anyway! LOL!
He should be running away from home, shortly after the New Year, 2014... ;o])
Bill would have to pay for the replacement fuse with his own money. I don’t see it!
Anyway, there’s always the option of removing the radio, if it comes to that. I’ll have to be seeing an auto-electronics person about the alarm.
You’re sweethearts! Thank you, my dear friends.
Howdy...went to the neighbors a short time ago...cr4p no camera. A clarks nutcracker and a stellar jay in their feeder. Will take camera if I go tomorrow to their place.
Vlad and Frank had swimming lessons this evening. Then I came home and did laundry and dishes and ran the vacuum. DP is cooking a second supper, and the smell is making me feel sick. I wish we’d get a breeze through here!
It was 82 today, but the nights have been in the 50s. It’s quite pleasant when you go out at midnight to shut off your car alarm!
I live in a forest too. It wasn't always that way.
Parts of it that I used to mow were taken over by weeds, and then the weeds were shaded out by trees, and the trees are being wallowed over by vines.
Maybe I should have kept mowing.
Some appropriately spaced plantings of kudzu will make it all disappear...
No need. It’s happening already.

My back and left knee are killing me right now.
A heavy wooden table and double sided fridge had to be cleaned and moved in. Started unpacking some of the many boxes. Found my Korean notes.
The electrician-plumber guys, Pinky & the Brain, made a little progress in the pipes but they fixed the backyard flood light and installed the Vent hood for where the future stove will be located.
Uncle Margerito [sic] was off of work because he was sick, but he managed to install some insulation in the laundry room.
Sorry about your limbs. I’m reorganizing my life in aid of getting more sleep. Doesn’t seem to have helped much last night, because I forgot to organize the cats, but at least the car alarm didn’t go off again.
