If you’ve looked into the compartments where the relays are kept, they may be labeled. Usually, an owner’s manual will provide information about them as well.
But the guys who really need to get serious with them and their finagles, are the fellows who install stereo equipment and especially remote-start systems. I recommend using your feminine wiles on these guys to see what information and functionality you can gain. (Talk race-stuff, too!)
Uh oh. Prayers up.
LOL!
I checked the manual. There is nothing to indicate that a “relay” switch is even in the vehicle. I also checked the prices on Amazon for a Hayne’s Manual, and it’s $20+ (without “expedited shipping.”
I was going to take it to the guys who put the alarm in Ms. Daisy, Lo, those many years ago, but I wonder if they are up to: 1) finding the relay for the fuel pump, 2) finding the connection problem for the stereo, and 3) finding whatever demon is responsible for the alarm.
There are two choices at the moment: The “alarm/window tint” guys, or the race car guy.
I suppose, if push comes to shove, the decision will be made by the Money God. If whatever it is costs more than $100, it will have to wait.
Period. The end.
Just put this in your Google search window, “geo tracker fuel pump relay”, and then read free until your eyeballs droop.
No problem. Little by little the bird builds his nest.
The irony is, the "crew" I was talking about are encompassed by my shadow. I have complete authority and cooperation, merely little enthusiasm.
Yaknow? I’ve tried everything I could think of.
My eyeballs fell outta my haid when I saw ALL the non-specific information that was included on that site.
My truck is 20 years old. The wires have been wrapped with electrician’s tape and whatever you call those “corrugated” plastic wraps, and nothing seems to be where it should be. Even though I’m not a mechanic, this is not the first engine compartment I’ve played around in, and today, all I did was get my fingernails dirty. And get disgusted, which is why I began to search for the Hayne’s Manual.
There was so much information on the site(s) you directed me to that I will need a translator to figure it all out.
I love you, Bob, but this is one time I have to say, “No mas! No mas!”
I will email the page to my friend and call the racecar guy AND the alarm/tint guy in the morning. I think the latter will check it out for nothing, since I am a repeat customer. I hope, anyway.
Dang. This is so depressing.
(And may I say, “I LOATHE Google?” Thanks for the permission!)

See? They are WATCHING me!
I’m glad I bought the Subaru this year. I feel like it’s going to snow a lot this winter and I’m usually right about this kind of thing.
I have confidence in Anoreth's old weather knee.
Well...
For what it's worth, we have frost warnings for tonight. Only about a month and a half early for here...
I'm sure Algore has an explanation though...
Not frost 'warning', just a frost 'advisory'..
Either way, it's downright chilly outside at the present time...
...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT WEDNESDAY. * LOCATIONS...ORANGE AND PUTNAM COUNTIES NEW YORK...AND NORTHERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY CONNECTICUT.
*shudder*
I will drag out my woolies in the next week...I hate the cold!
Yesterday, after he finished his lunch he looked concerned when I told him it was all gone. When I started to wipe his face, he got really upset. When I said “Wait, do you want more?” he went silent and looked me in the eye. When I came back with 2 more tablespoons of peaches, he looked relieved.
It's such amazing fun to watch this! He understands words and actions.
The choose your own adventure tunnels are more fun!
Which choose your own adventure tunnels have you gone through? What would you recommend?
I would recommend the Gramma or Great-Gramma channel for the most fun in the Tunnels of Learning!
He’s sitting in his high chair thinking, “Hmmmm, it appears that I can control them with my brain.” Heh heh heh!
Indeed.
Marshalling his thoughts.
*snorkle*
I do legitimately have a weather knee now actually.
