I was not pinged or mentioned in your posts, but on the off chance that this was an oblique reference to what I wrote, let me say this.

If you read my posts carefully, you will note that I made no mention of humting bear. I've never hunted bear and have no inclination to do so. The reference to shooting bear with the .243 wasd made in the original story.

I was simply letting people know that as far as that particular round goes, I have had a really good experience with the way it's handled by the Mossberg ATR. I really like the gun and the way that caliber shoots.

And, as I said, the Mossberg folks give really great customer service.

That said, I'll leave those big nasty critters to your guys. I've got my Bambi Killer.
