There was a thread here few days ago about how the clean air laws of the 70s have been the cause of global warming because the sunlight now hits the ground instead of being reflected by all the pollution.
There is nothing in this work of satire that hasn't been played out in real life (repeatedly) to the detriment of the American citizen, in the last 5 years.
Why should anyone expect the average citizen to fail to spot it as satire? No matter how informed?
To the present DC regime, nothing is too unconstitutional or too extreme (or too unbelievable) for the "right" reasons.
