Putin wasn’t as concerned when the US was pretending to be fighting muslim extremists. Now he’ll deal with his way. I have a feeling we’re more than going back to the pre 67 borders. We’re going back to the Russians being Egypt’s best ally.

In Canada, we are further down the slippery slope into the moral abyss than the U.S.A. — we legalized same-sex marriage in 2005 and despite a lot of public opposition at that time and a change in government, parliament was never able to find a majority vote to rescind what the Patriarch rightly calls “the legalization of sin.”

And he is absolutely right that this brings into very clear view the prospect of God’s moral condemnation of the west, for indeed, America is only lagging slightly behind the herd as they drop one by one into this cesspool of moral depravity.

The idea that this is some libertarian triumph is ambiguous at best. Given that the libertarian point of view is often atheistic, still there is just as much to be lost in terms of freedom of association and freedom to do business as you see fit, as supposedly is gained from freedom to love and marry as you choose. But on this issue, I believe we see the glaring weakness of libertarian philosophy as contrasted with principled conservatism, for there, people are more motivated to think in terms of the survival of the larger foundations of freedom, which must of necessity take us back to the world’s best known expression of it, the vision of the American founding fathers to create a moral order of liberty respecting foremost the rights of the Creator and then those of the individuals He created (in His image, and here lies the disproof of the Satnic theology that gives false hope to progressives that God is on their side. I believe through Spiritual discernment that this is a dangerous delusion and may indeed be that final delusuion of which we were so abundantly warned in Scripture.

It is surprising and to some extent puzzling that Russia, not that transformed from its cynical communist past, and led by an arch-example of that regime, has chosen to stand virtually alone among advanced nations against the rainbow and also Islamist (and to some extent climate change too) portions of the globalist agenda. They used to design that agenda in the Kremlin just as a hobby.

All praise to the Holy Spirit for its many wonders that can transcend even these imponderables. But we need to find our own steadfast leaders who are uncompromisingly opposed to all of this Satanic delusion, before it destroys what is left of our liberty and moral integrity.

To paraphrase Vito Corleone...about Putin: he’s a pimp.
