Here's a weird story..a real head-scratcher with which to start your day..
Buried in a long article today "The Clinton dramas: Here we go again" which in itself is a surprisingly negative piece...is a link to an even more fascinating, well..expose ( link below )
> What I liked was Sarah Palins comment this week about Obama having a gay old time on Marthas Vineyard.
Yabba dabba doo!
oooh, I caught that, too
Mama Grizzly is wise
Why is it so difficult to find pictures of that woman where she doesn’t look bat guano crazy?
Then why is she shown wearing an ‘athletic supporter’?
Enquiring minds want to know .....
Actually, it’s an easy question to answer. Having lived next door to to the Clintons for 7 years, and having met Hillary up close many times, unfortunately for her, she is just one of those people whom the camera absolutely hates. There are some people who always seem to take a great picture..others who look just horrible in every picture. Hillary’s the latter. In person, up close, she’s quite pleasant looking..not a beauty by any means..but far better looking than any picture.
1996 - 1998 (?): White House Intern, Office of the First Lady
1998 (?) - 2001: Staff Assistant, Office of the First Lady
2001 - 2006: Personal Aide, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton
2006 - 2009: Traveling Chief of Staff, Clinton Presidential Campaign
2009 - 2013: Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor, Secretary of State
2013- Present: Director of Hillary Clinton's transition team and employee of the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation
First, it is extremely unusual for a White House Intern to work directly for the First Lady. FYI, it is also extremely rare for a White House Intern to actually enter the White House more than twice (at the beginning of the program, and the end). Most White House Interns actually work in the various executive branch offices.
It looks like at some point Huma went from being in the White House Intern program to being a paid employee of the Office of the First Lady, since Huma graduated college at some point. That strikes me as odd.
It also strikes me as odd for a political aide to latch on to one politician for 17 years, especially starting as an intern for that politician. I would think a good mentor would want an prospective aide to get a wider variety of experience, and also possibly to work at a think tank or elsewhere to make some money to counter the lower-paying staffer and campaign jobs.
It is also seems odd to me for someone with only a BA and only having staff and campaign experience to be a senior advisor to the Secretary of State.
Yep, we can hear Hillary! exclaiming about her lesbian lover Huma “What difference at this point does it make?!”
Oh, you have a Weiner. He just gives it to everyone but you!
Try SHOO-IN. As in shooing chickens....or a group of children, to move them in a desired direction.
I’m not seeing anything unusual either. Besides, even if you had photos of them kissing Hillary could just shrug and say “What difference does it make?”.
I know what he’s implying. I don’t see the evidence for the implication in those photos.
I suppose that explains the still-photography. And it humanizes her in a way forgotten by my comment. But I’ve also seen video...
I think her husband entered an intern more than twice, so it's only fair.
I was at a west coast meeting for my job in the early 2000s, someone mentioned either Bill Clinton or Monica Lewinsky and young woman who worked for my company rolled her eyes and then proceeded to explain she had been a White House Intern under George H.W. Bush, and it was completely out of the norm for any intern to enter the West Wing at all. She said her entire intern class went to the White House twice, the first time to meet the President and take a group picture, and at the end of the program to get their formal thank-yous and certificates.
As she said it, it is not really a "White House" intern program, it is an "Executive Branch" intern program. I think she worked in the Treasury department for her internship.
When you combine a compliant press, and a general lack of knowledge in the American public, the idea of a bevy of young, attractive college coeds running around the West Wing making copies and coffee is what people think the intern program is.
If you asked someone in 1998: "What the Hell is a White House Intern doing in the White House?" someone might look at you like you have three heads. However, the press knew this was highly unusual.
I wasn’t saying you didn’t know what was implied, I was merely saying he wasn’t the only one who read it that way. I agree with you about the photos; considered alone they are benign. It was the heading I found suggestive, as if they wanted to plant a seed for those who haven’t already considered the possibility.
James Carville mentioned the "Clinton Haters" coming out of the woodwork. However, these Clinton Haters have to be Democrats. So who will the Clinton Haters line up behind in 2016?
I still think the 2016 Dim primary will come down to Antonio Villaraigosa or Corey Booker. Young and brown are the future of the Dims, although Villaraigosa is not that young.
Begs for a caption.
Sweety I've got a job I want to do on you.
Nothing there gets me hot. Maybe you should take a cold shower.
Have to agree with post 6 saganite.
we can beat her with facts; don’t need the hype.
