There are even others in addition to Maya Soetoro and George Obama that could be tested/ Any and all who share the same female line as Obama all the way back in time would have the same mitochondrial dna as he has, such as anyone and everyone who shares the same greatgrandmother, greatgreatgrandmother, etc in his mother’s line.

If Madelyn Dunham had a sister who had kids, for instance, those people could be tested. If Madelyn’s mother had a girl who had a girl who had a girl, that person would share Obama’s mitochondrial dna. Ditto on the Y-dna for all who share the same greatgrandfather, greatgreatgrandfather in his father’s ancestry. There is also an autosomal dna test that could be done of alleged cousins or second cousins of Obama to confirm or disprove that someone is really a cousin or second cousin or third cousin, etc. The test does not determine on which side someone is a cousin, just that they are a first, second, third cousin.

Comparing Obama’s YDNA to that of other collateral males descended in generation after generation from the same paternal line as that of the Dunham grandfather could provide evidence that that they are in the same male line. That together with the autosomal test would nail whether or not they are related to the Dunhams and how.

The testing could also be done of the ancestors and descendants and collateral relatives of the Malcolm X and compare the results with Obama or with his alleged half siblings.

Sure, I know. I was simplifying. It’s a complex subject and a lot of people don’t understand that, for example, they can’t trace Zero’s lineage to Ireland via ANY y-chromosome (unless they’re going to admit that BHO Sr. is NOT his dad).

What we need is a cousin who’s willing to supply an exemplar and then, of course, you need his DNA. Good luck with that!

By the same token, a y-chromosome match between Barry and BHO Sr. wouldn’t conclusively prove that they are father and son. The father could be, for example, BHO Sr.’s brother, father, or any other male that shares that y-chromosome. It can rule out someone but doesn’t conclusively prove paternity. That’s why you need the autosomal analysis, too. That’s typically what’s done on those “who’s your daddy” TV programs that announce that someone’s the father to a 99.9% accuracy.

In fact, they lie when they say that DNA “proves” that Thomas Jefferson had a child by Sally Hemings when they know that the y-chromosome “donor” could have been any other male relative in the same direct male-to-male ancestral line, such as Jefferson’s brother, a male cousin on his father’s side, etc.
