Actually it was another lawyer in the Perkins Coie law firm that Hayes did work for, but Perkins Coie was on his client list.
You might be interested to know that a Fogblower (who might be posting in this thread) has seized on your misattribution of which Perkins Coie lawyer it was that hired Reed Hayes as the occasion for an attack on me personally and FReeper “birthers”! The lawyer (according to Hayes’ C.V.) was Thomas Kellenberg who apparently hasn’t worked for Perkins Coie since the 1990s.

And from this story about Lovitt, it appears that Kellenberg was working in Washington D.C. for Notre Dame’s Washington Project since at least 2000.

How old is the case that Hayes worked on for Perkins Coie?
My apologies to all for the minor error there. But the implied point remains the same. Perkins Coie is such an extraordinarily politicized law firm that any private investigator doing work for any of the firm's lawyers - in this case, Mr. Hayes - would be vetted by the firm before a contract was agreed to in order that the firm be assured that he was pretty much on their side of the fence politically and ideologically. So the inference is that Mr. Hayes is far from a right-wing extremist. Yet in spite of the fact that he had no partisan axe to grind, he professionally examined the Obama LFBC PDF file and signed an affidavit swearing under oath that he had no doubt it was a forgery!
