Actually far MORE people are trying to make it on minimum wage now, due to the breakdown of the family. I am aware of minimum wage shops where 80+% of the employees are single moms. Surely not the case in 1968.

Not my point at all, but thanks for trying.

Comparing what full time people make versus those who are, in many cases, voluntarily not full time workers makes no sense.
