CWD is know to have an incubation period of up to 16 months. Every time giggles peed or pooped she’d be contaminating the soil, every tick, every flea risks further spread.

The state is looking at the possibility of having to utterly wipe out existing herds and wait years for the soil to decontaminate before restocking. NO ONE wants to do that. It would be devastating to the ecosystem and the economy, but they may be left with no choice to avoid even worse problems.

Little miss treehugger wanted to export the possibly infected deer to a clean state.

Where does it say that? And why the need to call a woman who seems to be obsessed with animal rescue, a tree hugger?

OK, so why couldn’t she stay where she was for 16-18 months? They didn’t have any other deer, she was not contaminating the surrounding area. They could have treated her for ticks and fleas and packed her soiled bedding into burn bags.

So deer in the wild know not to cross the state line so that they don’t spread a possible disease?
