Thanks for that, you’re a treasure, I had forgotten them. Now we need to see if we can find just when their relatives lived in Blaine. SAD picked that child up from somewhere after borrowing a car ‘from a friend of her mother’s’ according to Susan. There might be a tie-in. Isn’t Blaine the name of the crossing between Canada and WA?

Yes. In Blain, there are two border crossings into Canada. It was mentioned in that article about the aunt I was posting about last night to the poster ‘1066’ or something like that.

I had forgotten it all, too. Had to go look it up again. Apparently that town is right on the border with Canada. What struck me, after reading it again, is the Alaska angle. So Ralph Lee “Richard” Berkebile was in Alaska when he enlisted in the Air Force. Alaska. Where Toutonghi now lives. It’s as if, regarding all these people, it always comes back to the same few states: Washington, Alaska, Kansas, California, Hawaii.
