What ever happened to scaring kids straight with a trip to see the inmates?

I guess the judge didn't get the memo: you aren't supposed to actually let Bubba rape and abuse him.

That will show him! Now when he really does perpetrate a gruesome act, with a glazed and remorseless look in his eyes, they can pat themselves on the back for a job well-done.

Wow, if Alec does it then it MUST be OK

Not

State and local governance and its respective enforcement wings (under the color of authority) have apparently been delivered memos from DHS that encourage "GUILTY BEFORE PROVEN INNOCENT." When THEY "see something" they indeed "do something" -- that is, abuse Constitutional Rights.

Agreed. The stink begins from the head up.

If you say so.

I think so. The key point here is that we are dealing with people that will do anything they believe they can get away with. Which, unfortunately leaves the options wide open. Add to that these are *very* nasty people who have demonstrated their capability to strong arm the judicial system.

So yeah, could I be wrong? Sure, especially if we had different people and no DHS. But with these people, more often than not you will be better off assuming they have their hands in the mix.

Sadly, with this bunch of fascist thugs, paranoia morphs into prudent thinking. That's how it works. After a while, no one trusts anyone.

Not bright but he doesn’t deserve worse punishment than the blacks in Chicago who go around slaughtering fellow teens...

He should not have been sent to prison. See my comment #21.

They just might.

If I say something stupid on Facebook. In Texas. And wind up in this judge's court.

If I say something stupid on Facebook.

And what or who defines 'stupid' can change. Quickly.

RE :”Not bright but he doesn’t deserve worse punishment than the blacks in Chicago who go around slaughtering fellow teens”

Once again I dont think I want to live in a place where the rules and laws are set based on the lowest behavior that anyone can point to someplace (crap hole) in the USA. That is not reasonable. There is a reason why I dont live there. .

Threatening to kill Kindergarteners on Face-book is not cool now.

The question here is not, did the young man do something very stupid. He did. Should he get his bell rung? Certainly. Should he be locked up (effectively) indefinitely and subtly pushed towards suicide? Absolutely not. This calculated inhumane treatment given the circumstances.

To repeat what I said in another post, this is designed to send a message. And not just to fools that make imprudent remarks. It is also a political message to potential dissidents.

The next step in the escalation will be seditious remarks against the *state*. Remember I told you this later on when it happens.

Right:
Here's the message : Threatening to kill Kindergarteners on Face-book is not cool now, no matter how much you hate whoever, the gubment, Obama.

This is simple and easy to remember. I can live by it.

And my message is double standard are wonderful if you get to live in unicorn liberal elite land ...

The land where the ugly realities of unintended consequences don't touch those with enough money to isolate themselves from what their liberal policies bring to the rest of the country. ( you know - the part of the country called 'fly over' - redneckville - inner city hellholes... the list is growing longer... and moving closer... )

You seem to think that by assigning multiple motives to this man’s treatment indicates that I am minimizing his statements.

Not So.

I am simply stating that based on the known facts, there is more to this than meets the eye.

I'm pretty sure that jokes about massacring kindergardens is always going to be considered stupid.

But the fix for that is not reducing OUR living standards to whatever is deemed acceptable in the worst crapholes in the USA. I don't live in Baltimore for a reason, and I dont like them moving to where I live trying to bring my neighborhood standards down to what they ran away from.

Texas is very gun friendly compared to else-wear in country but they can see this wasnt the least bit funny.

Yeah. You mean like getting audited by the IRS because you donate to the 'wrong' party. Yep, really far fetched.

Or maybe some reporter might get banned from Facebook for making references to God. Yeah.

Glad you are sure.
