I was born a product of alcoholic parents, and in my early years I was prone to alcoholism, I chose to say no.
A person may be born with a tendency toward homosexuality, they have the option to say no, just as I did toward alcoholism.
The struggle can be hard, but it is still a choice. For those that think that there is no choice, they are saying that G_d can make a mistake or that He thinks homosexuality is a viable and accepted option.
To me alcoholism and homosexuality and many other “isms” are a choice G_d gives you and awaits your decision.
Just my very humble opinion.
Please, no flames ... as I said, just my humble opinion.
It doesn’t matter if the behavior is genetic or not. What matters is the behavior itself. The gay lifestyle has never been openly discussed or evaluated. All they have done is say if you don’t agree with me that you are full of hate. What nonsense! For a start, is sodomy a healthy practice? It doesn’t matter if it’s genetic or not, if it’s unhealthy it should be discouraged. The gays a living in an alternate reality and trying to force us to live there too. Why aren’t we fighting back? Aren’t our children worth it?
I was about to say something similar. I had an alcoholic father, and neither I nor any of my four siblings are.
It is not genetic.
There is a very small segment of the population which can be born with messed up hormones. Population characteristics do follow a bell curve, albeit a very steep sloped curve. The forces seeking to end this Republic (read transform America) are using a very small number to legitimize the vast majority of chosen degenerate behavior. Maybe 1% (and likely much less) of homosexuals are hormonally screwed up. The rest are just deathly sick in their soul.
