Just an FYI for the OP....from Florida this might sound unbelievable but....Massachusetts is an unbelievably corrupt (in every way) state.IIRC,Ronald Reagan carried the state in '80 and/or '84.Today Reagan, regardless of his Rat opponent, wouldn't get 30% of the vote.THAT is how depraved the state has become.I've lived here all my life,I've seen the change.I assure you that *regardless* of who their opponents might be *every* single important race here in the future,President...Governor...Senator...Congressman,etc,will be won by the filthy Communist Rat.That applies at least for the rest of my life and the lives of my kids.

I'm as serious as a heart attack when I say that.

Having lived in Mass for some time, I agree. In my opinion, one way to change that situation is to work to encourage greater prosperity in the free states. Residents of Mass, NY, and Calif, for examples, have shown they will leave to go where the opportunities and jobs are. As a result, two things happen in states like Mass. People who are capable, ambitious, and hopeful move to where the opportunities are. The people who are left create a higher percentage of socialists as a result, however, those people put a lot of demands on state gov’t. The decreasing revenues and higher percentage of “baby birds” in such states make the contrast with the freer states more stark. This creates dissent in the socialist states. It is a process that could stop the US from becoming Brazil or Argentina. So long as there are some states that buck the socialist pressures.
